After an extensive experience for professional associations in the food industry and household chemical sector, Antonio moved to the higher education field in 2001 to become VP Business Development at the Universidad Europea de Madrid (the first institution of Laureate International Universities), and then COO of Laureate Spain. On top of his P&L responsibilities in Spain, he actively participated in the building network products and services across the Laureate organization and mainly with the LATAM countries.
His successful track record got him in 2009 to take responsibilities at group level as VP Middle East and North Africa and CEO Laureate Morocco, where he launched a new business of TechVoc Schools in partnership with Saudi Government, and the first private university of Morocco and first greenfield operation of Laureate International Universities (Université Internationale de Casablanca). In 2013 was appointed as VP Operations of Laureate Europe and member of the European Executive Committee before deciding to develop his own consultancy activity. Antonio holds an Executive MBA degree from Instituto de Empresa and fluently speaks Spanish, French and English. |
